ceapoint renamed within thinkproject

Since January 2019, thinkproject, a leading provider of a cloud-based Common Data Environment (CDE) for construction and engineering projects, has owned 100% of the shares in ceapoint aec technologies GmbH. With the renaming to thinkproject the brand and market position of the group should be further strengthened. The DESITE product line remains an integrated and open solution within the thinkproject Portfolio, expanded by cloud functionalities and will be marketed internationally in the future. The former ceapoint aec technologies GmbH will remain present with the existing employees at the Essen location.

The Essen-based ceapoint has been offering Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions since 2010 with its DESITE product line and assisting in the introduction and use of BIM in design offices, and with contractors and builders. The company specialises in BIM management and BIM coordination. Among the clients of DESITE are construction companies such as STRABAG and Max Bögl, planning offices such as Schüßler-Plan and builders such as Deutsche Bahn and DEGES. In addition, DESITE is the BIM technology for the products of the BRZ Group in the segment of medium-sized construction industry.

"By renaming to thinkproject, the thinkproject Group continues to expand its brand and its leading market position in Europe. With the complete integration of ceapoint into the group, we can optimally bundle our processes and be an even more efficient partner for our customers in the increasing digitisation of the construction industry" explains think project! Managing Director Gareth Burton.
