BIM agreement with DEGES

EPLASS has won the Framework Agreement for a CDE for BIM collaboration with DEGES GmbH, through a European tender.

The German Unification Highway Planning and Construction GmbH (DEGES) is responsible for the planning and construction of important infrastructure projects in Germany. With this framework agreement, EPLASS has won framework contracts for CDE and BIM with the two largest infrastructure developers in Germany (DB Systel in the rail sector and DEGES in the road sector). The existing framework agreements in the area of plan management and the other EPLASS solutions with DB Netz AG and DEGES GmbH will also be continued.

The new master agreement with DEGES includes the product DESITE as well as EPLASS BIM collaboration. DESITE is integrated directly into the EPLASS solution: data is transferred from EPLASS to DESITE and the data changed there is stored directly in the EPLASS CDE without an upload or download. In addition, the high-performance servers from EPLASS ensure that even large BIM models can be processed with high performance in DESITE.

DESITE (since March 2019) and EPLASS (since 2010) both belong to the Thinkproject group. The collaboration between DESITE and EPLASS was already successfully implemented in initial projects in September 2018 and has since been greatly expanded.
