The Project
Located on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand, New Plymouth District Council is implementing community improvement schemes to innovate services including water, waste and public buildings.
The Outcome
The council is eager to pursue collaborative working relationships with their suppliers and NEC is seen as an enabler to achieving this along with thinkproject's contract management software, CEMAR.
They have also gained significant recognition for innovation and collaboration in their procurement strategies, with a joint paper authored by their Infrastructure Manager, David Langford, who was awarded the prestigious Hynds Paper of the year at the Institute of Public Works Engerineering Australasia (IPWEA) 2017 Conference.
We are proud to be working with this progressive organisation and we look forward to supporting their ongoing commitment to the NEC suite of contracts.
