The Project

The Wave, Muscat is a popular integrated tourist development consisting of hotels, a marina, a retail and commercial area as well as cafes and restaurants. There are also residential complexes and a golf course, catering to tourists and residents alike.

The Wave is the first real estate project in the Sultanate of Oman that not only creates residential and business spaces for locals, but also further expands the tourism infrastructure and enables overseas residents to purchase real estate in Oman.

In a project of this size, it was extremely important to ensure efficient cooperation between the international project partners. The project also included many different elements, from housing to the landscaping and marina work, pulling in many different project teams with different expertise.

thinkproject was selected as the central project task management software and assists The Wave participants to control communication and the exchange of documents more efficiently. Structured workflows, including requests for information and requests for change or site instructions reduce the coordination workload involved in the project task management.

A history of document versions and all operations connected with each document is readily available meaning not only are processes during the project more efficient, but the result is seamless project documentation.
